I'M BACK!

After a couple year break from this blog, and from couponing I have decided to get back into saving money! I had taken a break because about two years ago we moved into a new home, and then I decided to go back to school which has been keeping me very busy! After realizing I was once again spending $500-$700 a month in groceries, I knew something had to change. My husband happened to catch an episode of extreme couponing on TLC, and asked why can't we do that? My reply was one, that show is very unrealistic in my opinion, two I just didn't have the time to devote to it between work, school and running the kids to their many activities. So he said he would take the time to start doing it, well I thought that's fine with me, until I found myself trying to explain the ins and outs of couponing, I figured if I am going to have to help him figure it all out I might as well do it myself. He is still helping me and we are enjoying saving money together this time! I love when he gets as excited about a good deal as I do!
